The Kazan Halal Market fair will open as part of KazanForum 2025
The Kazan Halal Market fair has been an integral part of KazanForum for several years and takes place on the premises of the Agro-Industrial Park. Residents and visitors of the city come here to purchase halal products from farmers from Tatarstan and other regions of Russia, as well as to participate in a cultural and entertainment program.
This year, from May 13th to 18th, daily prize draws, performances by singers, theater and dance groups, numerous master classes, and a variety of other entertainment are planned for fair guests on the territory of the Agro-Industrial Park.
Special attention will be paid to folk crafts and national customs: fair visitors will be taught how to make folk toys and folk dances ("Dance of the Soul: Features of Tatar Choreography"), and chefs from Tatar cuisine restaurants will conduct master classes on "Features of National Cuisine" and "Features of Traditional Celebrations: From Customs to Etiquette". The national folk music ensemble "Zhomga Kon" will also perform for the guests.
An exhibition of clothing collections with elements of the Tatar national costume will be held daily – exhibition guides will tell visitors about the features of the collection and its author.
In addition, at the fair, it will be possible to purchase horse meat delicacies, beekeeping products, melons and gourds, medicinal herbs, teas, and jams. Last year, 57 companies from regions of the Russian Federation presented their products under the "Tatar Bazary" brand at the Kazan Halal Market. These included producers from Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Mordovia, Kirov, Omsk, and Nizhny Novgorod regions, as well as Chuvashia, Orenburg, and Perm Krai.
Furthermore, 15 foreign companies from 9 countries – Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Turkey – participated in it. Over the days of the fair, it was visited by more than 45,000 people.
Admission to the fair is free for all residents and visitors of the city. The Kazan Halal Market will be open from May 13th to 18th, 2025, at the following address: 2 Agrarnaya Street, Kazan, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
