Amidst a growing interest among Turkmen citizens in traveling to Turkiye, Turkish Airlines will increase the number of flights on the Ashgabat – Istanbul route to 17 per week. This was announced by the Ambassador of Turkiye to Turkmenistan, Ahmet Demirok.

Effective April 1, 2025, the number of flights had already been increased from 11 to 14 per week. The subsequent increase to 17 weekly flights is scheduled for June 10, 2025. This decision aims to further develop tourism between the two nations and enhance transport accessibility.
