On Friday, the three-day trial run of the World Exhibition Expo 2025, scheduled to open in Japan on April 13th, was initiated.

Organizers aim to resolve any potential issues prior to the official public opening of the event.

Approximately 90,000 individuals are expected to participate in this test event, affording them the opportunity to experience a selection of the pavilions. As of Thursday, 22 Category A pavilions, anticipated to be key attractions of the exhibition, have been certified by the organizers as fully completed.

Japan is hosting the World Exhibition for the third time, following events held in Osaka Prefecture in 1970 and in Aichi Prefecture, Central Japan, in 2005.
