An ice show of Turkmen figure skaters will be shown during the New Year's festivities
A New Year's surprise waits for admirers of figure skating in Turkmenistan. Young figure skaters have prepared an ice show which will be broadcast by the sports TV channel during the New Year's holiday events.
The program of a colourful ice carnival is kept strictly secret, but correspondents of ORIENT could see the rehearsal and take a glance at the final preparations.
The ice arena of the Ashkhabad Sports complex of winter sports was filled with sonorous voices of small asterisks of figure skating.
Before the training, teenage sportsmen help their younger companions to lace up thoroughly the skates and this team support will accompany figure skaters during all the rehearsal.
To the music of New Year's rhythms different ensembles of ice dance come out on to the arena. Figure skaters -kids who have prepared an original dancing program especially touch you.
Not less interesting the east composition with retinue of the sultan will seem, in figure skating there are not a lot of boys, but they are!
By the way, young Turkmen figure skaters already have a participation experience in the international competitions about what ORIENT time and again wrote.
