The Vice-President of the Charitable Foundation named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with foreign guests
On March 28th, a meeting took place between O. Atabayeva, the Vice-President for Medical Affairs of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and Inna Svyatenko, the Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who arrived in our country to participate in the international conference "The Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities in the Name of Children".
During the meeting, issues of interstate humanitarian cooperation were discussed.
In the course of the conversation, it was noted that the main objective of the Foundation is to protect children's health and conduct work aimed at achieving humanitarian goals. Particular attention was paid to the Foundation's activities in providing humanitarian aid to various countries around the world. In particular, the significance of the humanitarian assistance provided by the Foundation to children affected by the natural disaster in the Primorsky Territory of Russia was emphasized.
Subsequently, the Vice-President for Medical Affairs of the Foundation met with Ms. Farzane Sadegh Malvajerd, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the international conference on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the Foundation's establishment.
During the meeting, it was particularly noted that the cultural and humanitarian sphere is one of the main areas of cooperation between the two neighboring countries, which actively interact in this field. As emphasized, the Turkmen and Iranian peoples are united by a commonality of history, culture, and traditions.
Attention was focused on the support and assistance provided by the Foundation to ensure the social protection of children in difficult life situations, their adaptation in society, and preparation for independent living.
Also, on March 28th, a meeting was held between O. Atabayeva, the Vice-President for Medical Affairs of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and Akmaral Alnazarova, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who arrived in our country to participate in the international conference.
It was emphasized that the Charitable Foundation consistently allocates funds for various surgical operations for children in need of guardianship at healthcare facilities in the capital and regions, for the treatment of young Turkmen citizens being raised and educated in orphanages, specialized schools, and boarding schools, as well as for the purchase of medical supplies for them.
The Minister of Health of the fraternal country highly appreciated the work of the Foundation, noting that it is a clear demonstration of the special attention paid in Turkmenistan to the harmonious development and health of children.
