A Turkmen fashion show took place in Dushanbe
Within the framework of the International Jewelry Forum and Exhibition "At the Origins of the Oxus Treasure" held in Dushanbe, an exclusive fashion show was organized in collaboration with leading jewelry brands. This prominent event saw the participation of designers and fashion houses from Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, who presented unique collections of traditional women's attire complemented by exquisite jewelry.
Of particular interest to visitors was the presentation by the Turkmen fashion house Mähirli Zenan, which showcased an exclusive collection of outfits inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Turkmenistan. The clothing, adorned with traditional embroidery, ornaments, and elements of national dress, harmoniously blended with jewelry pieces, underscoring the distinctiveness and elegance of the national style.
The event garnered significant attention from forum participants, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the business community, and fashion enthusiasts. A notable occurrence at the event was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Turkmen fashion house Mähirli Zenan and the renowned fashion designer Liliya Rakh.
This agreement outlines plans for a series of events, including a large-scale fashion show in Ashgabat, which will be timed to coincide with a significant milestone – the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. Liliya Rakh, who expressed great interest in Turkmen clothing and national attire, noted its unique elements and rich heritage, which inspired her to create a joint collection with Turkmen designers.
