The city of Shymkent launches a new system for tourists


Shymkent, one of the largest cities in Kazakhstan, is launching a new system for international tourists under the name CityPass.
This innovative project aims to increase tourist flow and improve the service provision for visitors to the city. Consequently, Shymkent's tourism infrastructure will be elevated to a qualitatively new level, according to the press service of the city administration.
Holders of CityPass cards will be able to visit the city's cultural and historical landmarks, museums, parks, and modern entertainment centers at preferential rates.
The CityPass will be available for purchase through an online platform or at designated points of sale. It is important to note that the program includes discounts and special offers for cardholders.
The system's launch is planned for the upcoming tourist season, and it is already generating interest among both tour operators and independent travelers. The project is being implemented by the Kazakhstani IT company CROCOS.
