On March 25, 2025, Alexander Lukashenko officially assumed the office of President of the Republic of Belarus. This marks his seventh term as head of state.

The inauguration ceremony was held in the Hall of Solemn Ceremonies of the Palace of Independence in Minsk.

Over 1100 guests were in attendance at the ceremony, including high-ranking officials and representatives of the public.

Mr. Lukashenko took the oath of office in the Belarusian language, placing his right hand on the Constitution, and affirmed that he would faithfully serve the people of Belarus, respect, and protect the rights and freedoms of citizens.

The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Igor Karpenko, presented Alexander Lukashenko with the certificate of President of the Republic of Belarus.
