Georgia attaches particular importance to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle Corridor.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized the importance of this route at a meeting with Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov. He noted that Georgia, with its strategic location, has historically connected Europe and Asia, as well as the West and the East. This makes the country an important transit hub for international trade. Kobakhidze expressed interest in expanding trade partnerships and investment opportunities between Georgia and Uzbekistan. He noted that the development of the TITR could form the basis for deeper economic cooperation, which, in turn, would contribute to the improvement of infrastructure and the increase in freight traffic.
