Ashgabat discussed in key areas of Turkmen-Chinese partnership
A meeting dedicated to current issues of Turkmen-Chinese relations was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on March 11. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov received Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Communist Party of China of Shaanxi Province Xing Shanping.
During a constructive exchange of views, the parties emphasized the dynamic development of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and China in a wide range of areas. In this context, special attention was paid to key and most promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
An important factor contributing to the strengthening of interstate ties was the high level of trust and friendship between the heads of the two states.
The parties noted the intensification of inter-parliamentary and inter-party contacts, emphasizing the regular nature of the exchange of visits between representatives of the political parties of Turkmenistan and China. Trade and economic ties play a key role in the development of the Turkmen-Chinese dialogue of friendship, - it was stated during the meeting.
Cultural and humanitarian cooperation is also of great importance. In this regard, fruitful cooperation in the fields of science, education, cultural exchange and in the study of the Chinese language was noted.
Mutual Days of Culture of Turkmenistan and China give a special impetus to the further strengthening of humanitarian ties, enriching the bilateral partnership with new content, - the interlocutors emphasized at the end of the meeting.
