A meeting with the Consul of Turkmenistan took place at Astrakhan State Medical University
On January 24th, Gadam Ilamanov, the Consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan, met with Sergey Poroisky, the Acting Rector of Astrakhan State Medical University.
The meeting focused on discussing opportunities for expanding cooperation in the field of medicine, including specialist training and the exchange of pedagogical experience. Currently, more than 350 students from Turkmenistan are studying at Astrakhan State Medical University.
On the same day, the Consul held a separate meeting with students from Turkmenistan studying at ASMU. The diplomat's conversation with his young compatriots was dedicated to the significance of our country's neutrality and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's foreign policy status.
Also, in an open dialogue format, there was a discussion of issues related to the educational process, legal aspects of residence and employment, and career prospects after graduation.
