During a meeting between representatives of the Turkmen embassy in Islamabad and a delegation from the Gujranwala Business Centre, prospects for developing bilateral trade relations were discussed.

Pakistani business representatives expressed interest in entering the Turkmen market and proposed organizing an exhibition of Pakistani goods in Ashgabat, which would allow Turkmen consumers to become acquainted with the products of Pakistani manufacturers. This could provide new impetus for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The parties agreed to hold regular meetings to further develop and strengthen business contacts and pursue joint projects.
