The prestigious publication "La Gazette de Monaco" dedicated an article to the success of the Turkmen equestrian group "Galkynysh" at the 47th International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo. At the festival, where the best circus artists from around the world compete, the "Galkynysh" group won the highest award — the Golden Clown.
The decision of the jury, headed by Princess Stéphanie, was unanimous. In addition, the Turkmen artists received four special awards, including the Audience Choice Award.
The newspaper emphasized that the performance of the Turkmen riders on Akhal-Teke horses caused delight among the public and judges. The art of equestrian vaulting and acrobatics, demonstrated by the "Galkynysh" group, became a vivid testament to the rich traditions of Turkmenistan.
