The Asian Fencing Championship will commence in February in Kuwait. Turkmen athletes will participate in the tournament in the cadet (under 17) and junior (under 21) age categories.

Currently, Turkmen fencers are undergoing thorough preparation for the upcoming competition at the capital's Olympic City. Training sessions are held twice a week for three hours. Coaches focus on both combat tactics and technical training. An individual regime is selected for each athlete, taking into account their strengths and weaknesses.

The Asian Championship will be held from February 16 to 25 in Kuwait City. Participation in the continental championship is an excellent opportunity for representatives of Turkmenistan to compete for medals.
