Slovenia and Turkmenistan discussed the intensification of political and economic ties
On January 16, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Slovenia (with residence in Moscow), E. Aydogdyev, held a meeting with the State Secretary, authorized for European Affairs, Political Issues, International Law, and Protection of Interests of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Marko Štuci.
During the meeting, issues of developing Turkmen-Slovenian partnership in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres were discussed. The parties expressed interest in intensifying political contacts between the two countries, including organizing bilateral meetings on the platforms of authoritative international structures.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan informed the Slovenian side about the holding in December 2025 of a high-level international forum and celebrations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
