According to NASA, from January 21, six planets of the Solar System - Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune - will line up in the night sky, taking part in a "parade of planets".

Interestingly, the four planets closest to the Earth can be seen with the naked eye. However, the use of additional optical instruments, such as binoculars or a telescope, will significantly improve the quality of observation.

In astronomy, a "parade of planets" is a phenomenon in which, for an observer from Earth, several planets of the Solar System are visible on one side of the celestial sphere relative to the Sun.

If seven planets are visible at once, then the parade is called full or large. It can be observed on February 28, 2025, when Mercury joins the parade.
