Seydi Oil Refinery increases production volumes
Over the 11 months of 2024, the Seydi Oil Refinery, part of the «Turkmennebit» State Concern, processed more than 431.4 thousand tons of raw materials, fulfilling the plan by 109.1%. The total volume of produced products amounted to approximately 375.7 thousand tons, which is 17.4 thousand tons more than in the same period of 2023.
Among the key indicators is gasoline production, which reached 219 thousand tons, demonstrating a growth of 109.6% compared to last year. The refinery also produced approximately 109.6 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 23.6 thousand tons of heavy vacuum gas oil, and more than 19 thousand tons of road bitumen. The products are in high demand both in domestic and foreign markets.
It is also worth noting that in recent years, large-scale modernization projects have been successfully implemented at the refinery. On November 29, 2024, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the President of Turkmenistan approved a project to upgrade the refinery's water supply system and instructed that the necessary work be carried out.
The refinery's achievements are due to the hard work of its employees. Among them are senior operator Magtymguly Jumaguliyev, machinists Rustam Seyitniyazov and Chary Ismailov, fitter Khasan Rozyev, laboratory assistant Sayara Mamedkuliyeva, and senior specialist Roza Yagshymuradova. Their professionalism and responsible attitude are receiving well-deserved recognition from the refinery's management and public organizations.
