Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanovpresented to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, draft Work Plans for 2025 for the sectoral departments of the fuel and energy complex. According to the presented plans, the State Concerns «Türkmengaz» and «Türkmennebit» will focus on the deep development of oil and gas fields, increasing the production of natural and associated gas, oil, and gas condensate.

It is also planned to increase the production of liquefied gas and the export 1 of "blue fuel," along with the advanced processing of oil to supply both domestic and foreign markets with petroleum products. The State Corporation «Türkmengeologiýa» will be engaged in identifying new oil and gas formations, searching for solid minerals and groundwater. Special attention will be paid to the introduction of innovative technologies and advanced scientific achievements.

Among the key tasks for 2025 are the phased development of one of the world's largest gas fields, "Galkynyş," and the construction of the Serhetabat-Herat section of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) international gas pipeline, which received the symbolic name "Arkadagyň ak ýoly".

The President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of the fuel and energy sector as a strategic segment of the national economy. The Head of State instructed to strengthen the production capacity of specialized enterprises, actively introduce modern technologies, and take the necessary measures to fulfill the assigned tasks. The presented plans were approved, and the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to immediately begin their implementation.
