President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the festive performance at the main New Year tree of the country on December 28 and joined the fun of young Turkmen citizens. The cultural and entertainment center "Älem" turned into a magical fairy tale, where the most talented and gifted children from all corners of our Fatherland gathered. Their bright smiles and ringing laughter filled the square with joy and created an atmosphere of unity and harmony.
A real kingdom of a winter fairy tale spread around the 44-meter tree, crowned with a sparkling eight-pointed star. Millions of lights created a unique festive atmosphere. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov warmly watched the talented children who performed creative numbers.
All conditions have been created in Turkmenistan for the harmonious development of the younger generation. Modern schools, kindergartens and sports complexes equipped with the latest technology open up unlimited opportunities for young Turkmen citizens. Thanks to state support, our children are actively involved in science, art and sports, achieving high results in international competitions and olympiads.
Bright emotions, ringing laughter and happy children's faces - all this created an unforgettable atmosphere. According to tradition, all participants of the celebration received New Year's gifts. In memory of this joyful day, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took a photo with young Turkmen citizens at the foot of the country's main New Year tree. Saying goodbye to the children, the head of state wished them a happy New Year, fulfillment of all their wishes and creative success.
The festive relay race continued in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where a colorful New Year's show was held with the participation of young talents, pop and circus artists. Members of the government, foreign diplomats and other honored guests took part in this event. Like President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, many of them came with their children.
A bright show unfolded on the festively decorated stage, in which the young talents of our country took part. The children's choir "Güneş", the violin ensemble "Mukam" and popular dance groups captivated the audience. The performance of the granddaughter of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Ayjeren, who recited a poem and demonstrated playing the piano, made a special impression.
Each number of the program became a real gift for all those present. At the end of the celebration on the occasion of the New Year, the participants were presented with a huge multi-tiered cake.
