Open tennis championship started in Turkmenistan


The open tennis championship of Turkmenistan among children under 18, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the country's neutrality, has started in Ashgabat.
The tournament brought together over 30 participants who will compete for the championship, both in singles and doubles. Among the participants: Anastasia Azimbaeva, Maria Atamuradova, Rozhan Karadzhaeva, Allanur Dayanchev, Khodjamurat Eeberdiev and others. It should be noted that the Turkmen Tennis Federation uses a digital system when holding tournaments.
The chief judge of the competition is a candidate for master of sports, coach of the capital's sports school No. 13 Begmuhammet Mommaev. He was also a line judge at the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which Ashgabat hosted in 2017. As the chief referee of the competition, he noted the high preparedness of the athletes and their desire to win.
The championship will last until November 4, and the open tennis championship of Turkmenistan will be held from 23 to 27 November.
