An Indian Film Festival was held in Turkmenbashy

The city of Turkmenbashy hosted an Indian Film Festival 2024.
The event was organized by the Indian Embassy in Turkmenistan in honor of the centenary of the outstanding Indian director and producer, Raj Kapoor.
The event was attended by the Deputy of hakim of Turkmenbashy, Maysa Guljanova, and the Indian Ambassador, Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat.
The Ambassador spoke about the history of the development of the Indian film industry and noted its resounding success today.
In addition to the film screenings, visitors were able to enjoy performances by local dance groups and an exhibition demonstrating Indian cinema.
