Cup Quarter-finals of Turkmenistan: Altyn Asyr is without a rival and a hot Balkan Derby

Quarterfinal stage of the club football tournament did not bring surprises – the leader of the Turkmen football Altyn Asyr won Energetik – (7:0) without any problems.
Ahmed Atayev (at 35 minutes), Mikhail Titov (45, 80), Mekan Saparov (49), Zafar Babajanov (61), Begench Akmamedov (86) scored the goals. Akmurad Jumanazarov from Energetik put the final point with an own goal in the 88th minute.
The only loss in the Altyn Asyr team can be considered the removal of defender Mekan Saparov at the end of the match. The player will be forced to miss the second leg due to suspension, and will not be able to help his team.
In another match, the players of Shagadam won over the Balkan Nebitchi (4:2) at the home stadium.
Equality in the match was maintained almost until the first hour of the game, Magtymov’s goal in the 15th minute was replied by Nebitchi with Abdurahmanov’s accurate shot in the 53rd minute.
After that, the Shagadam players upset the guests from Balkanabad three more times. The same Magtymov scored the second goal, and Amanmamedov and Nurnazarov stretched their lead till crushing.
Nebitchi had enough strength only for one accurate shot by Azat Garajayev from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute.
The match was officiated by the referee brigade of Goshshanov and was very liberal in the warnings. Three players from the Shagadam team saw a yellow color in front of them, which, however, can be considered as the norm with great reserve. But the Tejen referee was clearly very strict with the Balkanabad players – 5 mustard plasters (yellow cards), including a warning to coach Rejepberdy Bagaberdyev and two removals – Vekil Kadyrov and reserve player of Nebitchi Muhamed Annaev.
The capital Kopetdag achieved a confident victory (2:0) over the Merv team from the city of Mary in the first quarter-final match.
Thanks to goals by Yazklych Kurbanov and Batyrklych Berdyev, MIA players have an excellent chance of reaching the semi-finals of the tournament.
But the meeting between “Akhal” and “Ashgabat” was the only one in which the audience did not observe goals scored. The match ended with a score of 0:0. And the return match in the capital of Turkmenistan promises to be very interesting.
Recall that the return matches of the 1/4 final will be held next week on November 6 and 7.
