Caspian cruises start before the end of 2019
The tourist ship "Peter the Great" from the Russian Federation will begin to carry out sea tourist tours around the Caspian until the end of 2019. This is stated in the memorandum on partnership in the field of cruise shipping in the Caspian Sea, signed in Baku between joint-stock companies - the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company and the Moscow River Shipping Company. According to the parties, this project will be of interest for fans of sea voyages not only from the countries of the region, but also from European countries, the United States, Australia, China and other countries of the world. The document provides for joint study of the routes along the Caspian Sea. According to experts, the cruise liner could come from the Black Sea, through the inland waters of Russia to Astrakhan, and from there visit the Caspian ports of Baku, Makhachkala, Anzali, Noushehr, Turkmenbashi, Aktau and others.
