The International Football Federation has decided on the venues for the 2030 and 2034 World Cups
The FIFA Congress was held in the format of an online conference, where the host countries for the 2030 and 2034 World Cups were officially announced.
Representatives of all 211 member associations of the organization, including Chairman of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan Guvanchmukhamed Ovekov, took part in the vote organized by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
As FIFA officially announced at an extraordinary congress in Zurich, the 2030 World Cup matches will be hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco. At the same time, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay will also become "hosts of the centenary", holding one match each. Thus, for the first time in history, World Cup matches will be held on three continents at once - in Europe, Africa and South America. The tournament will be held in the summer of 2030.
