Turkmenistan to host phygital and eSports competitions

In order to develop physical culture and sports, the Olympic movement, and to promote a healthy lifestyle in the country, competitions in physical-digital sports and esports among students have been announced in Turkmenistan.
The competitions will be held from 2 to 7 December at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. They will be organized by the National Federation of Turkmenistan Student Sports jointly with the National Federation of Turkmenistan Electronic Sports.
The competitions are timed to coincide with International Neutrality Day, which is celebrated on 12 December.
