The program Fashionable capital of the Commonwealth may appear in the CIS
In the Commonwealth of Independent States, they plan to create a new interstate program “Fashion Capital of the Commonwealth”.
Such an initiative was proposed by Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Federation of Russia Inna Svyatenko at the III International Forum “The Commonwealth of Fashion”, which was completed in St. Petersburg.
In her opinion, it is important to strengthen production and trade cooperation, to create new strong ties.
Inna Svyatenko believes that thanks to the forum, representatives of the fashion industry of the Commonwealth will be able to establish useful business contacts, find promising markets for products, taking into account modern trends in the development of logistics routes and the popularity of marketplaces. She expressed confidence that the agreements concluded as part of the forum will become a new impetus for effective partnership in the light industry, in creative industries, in the creation and promotion of design ideas and fashion brands.
Participants of the international forum discussed support for producers through subsidies and preferential loans, the importance of preserving the cultural code.
The event also discussed the work on the Concept of Cooperation aimed at the efficient use of resources and promotion of national brands, shared information on the product labeling system and the law on the platform economy to prevent the sale of low-quality goods.
The "Professionality" project was presented, which trains personnel for the light industry through cooperation between colleges, regional ministries and enterprises.
