President of Turkmenistan replaces Deputy Prime Minister for Trade

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov dismissed Batyr Atdayev from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of trade complex, textile industry and private sector “as having failed to fulfil his duties”.

The head of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev has been appointed to this post with a six-month probationary period.

The head of state signed decrees on this on Friday, during a government meeting, the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company reported in a news release.

Nokerguly Atagulyev already held the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Trade and Textile Industry in 2012-2013.
