Colvir Fintech Day held in Ashgabat for Turkmenistan’s banking representatives
On November 13, Ashgabat hosted the Colvir Fintech Day banking conference, organized by Colvir Software Solutions, a leading international provider of IT solutions for the financial sector. The event brought together representatives from Turkmenistan’s largest banks, including the Central Bank, the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs, "Halkbank," "Senagat," "Rysgal," "Dayhanbank," and "Turkmenistan."
The conference’s agenda covered key topics related to the digital development of Turkmenistan’s banking sector:
Digital transformation of banking processes and a development roadmap;
Integrated solutions for banking activity management;
Mobile applications for private and corporate clients;
QR Pay technology, which is gaining popularity in Central Asia.
Denis Yudin, Director of Business Development at Colvir Software Solutions, emphasized that a comprehensive approach to technological transformation is a key factor for success.
“We offered Turkmenistan’s banks a development program that includes functional updates, QR payments, postal service automation, and e-government solutions,” said Yudin.
Participants showed particular interest in the QR Pay technology demonstration, which has already proven to be a convenient digital payment method. According to Timur Tlegenov, Colvir Software Solutions Account Manager, “QR Pay fully aligns with the goals of digital transformation and promotes e-commerce growth.” At a demo booth, attendees could try out the new payment method, which was also presented yesterday, November 14, at the Turkmentel 2024 exhibition.
The conference was also attended by participants of the "Colvir for Experts" bootcamp training, through which Colvir Software Solutions is training IT specialists from Turkmenistan’s banks. The company actively develops the Colvir Expert Community program, which covers Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan and aims to enhance the professional competencies of banking specialists.
