The Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan has been awarded the title of one of the fastest growing organizations on the continent. This recognition was announced at the General Assembly of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF), which was held in Hong Kong. ATF President Yuri Polsky presented the commemorative trophy to the Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Eziz Dovletov, highlighting the achievements and progress in the development of tennis in the country.

The event was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Asian Tennis Federation, which includes 45 member countries. During the assembly, Eziz Dovletov, who also holds the position of Vice President of the ATF, participated in the Board of Directors meeting, where key issues regarding the development of tennis in the region and the organization of future tournaments were discussed.

Recently, the work of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan received high praise for organizing the Central Asian Tennis Championship among children under 12 years old, which took place in Ashgabat in June 2023. The tournament gathered teams from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. ATF executives noted this event as a benchmark for organizing tennis competitions, highlighting the high level of conduct and professionalism of the Turkmen organizers.
