Telephone conversation between the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan and the President of Uzbekistan took place
On October 14, a telephone conversation took place between National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The interlocutors noted that cooperation between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, including in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, is developing fruitfully, TDH reports.
Mirziyoyev expressed sincere gratitude to the Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the invitation to the high-level forum in honor of the great thinker Magtymguly and for awarding him with a jubilee medal. He emphasized that Magtymguly is highly revered in Uzbekistan, where his work is well known, and the international forum held in Ashgabat is of great importance in strengthening friendly ties between peoples.
During the telephone conversation, the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, fuel and energy, transport and communications and agricultural spheres, as well as issues of implementing previously reached agreements and joint projects were discussed.
