The concept of the "Encyclopedia of Magtymguly" is reflected in the final document of the international forum
The participants of the International Forum "Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development", which was held on October 11 in Ashgabat, noted the great potential for actively studying the possibility of publishing the "Encyclopedia of Magtymguly Fragi", which will collect information about the research work of scientists studying the literary heritage of Magtymguly.
This is reflected in the final document of the forum, which was attended by the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Armenia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Among the participants were the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, heads of international organizations, members of foreign governments, prominent scientists, cultural figures and diplomats.
The forum became part of large-scale events held in 2024 in Turkmenistan under the motto "The Fount of Magtymguly Fragi's Mind", dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great thinker's birth. Participants noted the relevance of Magtymguly's work, based on the ideas of unity and humanism, and emphasized his role in the formation of patriotic consciousness and spiritual and moral education of the younger generation.
Within the framework of the forum, important issues of popularizing the cultural heritage and spiritual values of the peoples of the world were discussed, and the need for further stimulation of the preparation and publication of collections of Magtymguly's works was approved.
The forum participants emphasized that the poetic heritage of the great thinker is a significant contribution of the Turkmen people to the world culture and an inexhaustible source of humanism. They also expressed their intention to support international scientific conferences and cultural events dedicated to his work.
