A meeting with representatives of the Turkmen diaspora was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States
In honor of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, a meeting with representatives of the Turkmen diaspora was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States. During the meeting, important directions of the country's development were discussed, reflected in the decisions taken at the recent meeting of the Halk Maslahaty.
Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Azat Atayev noted that Turkmenistan's achievements in recent years have become possible thanks to an effective strategy implemented under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and respected President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Atayev stressed the need to continue reforms in the field of education and improve university accreditation procedures in accordance with international standards.
Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the United States Meret Orazov stressed in his speech that the 33rd anniversary of the country's independence symbolizes a new stage in Turkmenistan's development. He noted that the program documents adopted at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty are aimed at improving the socio-economic living conditions of citizens, strengthening infrastructure, as well as developing international cooperation, which makes such celebrations especially important for consolidating society and its ties with the motherland. The Vice-rector of the Institute of International Relations, Begench Matliyev, spoke about the programs initiated during the celebration that help strengthen ties in the field of education, including the launch of joint educational programs and participation in international scientific projects.
Representatives of the Diaspora expressed sincere gratitude to the National Leader and the President of Turkmenistan for their contribution to the development of the state and the creation of conditions for the country's integration into the world community. It was noted that the decisions taken at the Halk Maslahaty have an important impact on the further growth and stability of Turkmenistan.
In addition, the participants of the event discussed events dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and philosopher of the East Makhtumkuli Fraga, and expressed their readiness for further active cooperation and support for cultural and educational initiatives led by the national leader and the President of Turkmenistan.
