At the briefing in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan the significance of the Investment Forum-2024 and regional projects was assessed
On Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a briefing on the results of the Investment Forum and Exhibition (TIF 2024) held on 10-11 September in Ashgabat. The event was attended by key representatives of government agencies, international organizations, as well as local and foreign media.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov emphasized the success of the forum, which brought together government officials, financial institutions and numerous companies from different countries. The forum became an important milestone in the industrial and innovative development of Turkmenistan, opening new opportunities for mutually beneficial investment cooperation.
In addition to discussing the outcomes of the forum, the briefing focused on the recent groundbreaking and launching ceremonies of important energy, transport and communication projects between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan. These events were attended by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In their speeches at the briefing, the Ambassadors of India and China, the representative of the Embassy of Afghanistan and heads of offices of international organizations stressed that Turkmenistan's efforts contribute not only to the socio-economic development of the country, but also to strengthening regional and global cooperation. These steps are also aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and demonstrate Turkmenistan's high investment potential.
