The State Minister of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babayev met with Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Almasadam Satkaliyev.

The parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the gas industry and the possibility of participating in joint projects, expressed confidence that through joint efforts they will be able to bring mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level of strategic partnership.

Following the negotiations on the sidelines of the TIF-2024 investment forum, a Memorandum of Intent was signed between "Turkmengas" and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to strengthen cooperation in the gas industry.
