Ambassador of Turkmenistan presents credentials to the President of Slovenia


Turkmen Ambassador to Slovenia Esen Aydogdiyev presented his credentials to the President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar on 13 August.
Congratulating the Turkmen diplomat on his appointment to the high post, the head of Slovenia wished him successful work and expressed confidence that friendly and respectful relations between Turkmenistan and Slovenia would continue, meeting the fundamental interests of the peoples of the two countries.
The Turkmen Ambassador assured the Slovenian President that he would do everything necessary to continue the established traditions of cooperation, mutual understanding and mutually beneficial partnership.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening political and diplomatic dialogue between Turkmenistan and Slovenia, both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations, and underlined the importance of further developing mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation. In this context, the significant role of the bilateral Intergovernmental Turkmen-Slovenian Commission on Economic Cooperation was acknowledged. Considerable attention was paid to expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation, according to the website of the Turkmen Embassy in the Russian Federation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirtz Musar, conveyed greetings to President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
