Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Meets with President Erdogan


Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov, who is on a two-day visit to Ankara, met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday.
The head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry conveyed greetings and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Turkey from President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
A wide range of issues related to cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed during the meeting, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
The parties expressed deep satisfaction with the pace of development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Turkey, emphasizing their mutual desire to further strengthen partnership in bilateral and multilateral formats.

An exchange of views on current issues of regional and international interest that are of mutual interest also took place, the department added. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was also present at the reception.
