The second place was won by Leyli Okdirova, a performer with a lot of unique talents, one of which is the ability to sing beautifully both in her native language and in several foreign ones.
Dovlet Amanlykov, one of the most popular soloists in Turkmenistan, who is a frequent guest singer in magnificent Turkmen weddings, known for his grandiose scope, is the closest to the top three.
Nine years in a row, the "Star of the Year" contest captures the attention of Turkmenistan's viewers and radio listeners, and each time one of the brightest young performers of the country is determined. To determine the best of the best, the organizers put rather difficult conditions for the contestants. For example, every soloist should sing a couple of song verses without music, which most fully reveals their true vocal abilities.
