The Turkish Muay Thai Federation reported that the sporting event will be held with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) and the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The championship will be attended by Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Uzbekistan.

The opening of the championship will take place on August 15, and the final competitions and award ceremony are scheduled for August 18, Anadolu Agency reports.
