Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Attends Inauguration of Iranian President
On Tuesday, July 30, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov attended the inauguration ceremony of newly elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.
Pezeshkian received the Turkmen diplomat, who conveyed congratulations and best wishes on behalf of Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the head of the neighboring state on the occasion of his inauguration as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The press release of the Foreign Ministry noted the progressive dynamics of the Turkmen-Iranian partnership in a wide range of areas, which is being boosted by contacts at the highest and high levels.
The swearing-in ceremony of the new Iranian president was held in the building of the national parliament. It was attended by high-ranking guests from almost 80 countries.
