The impact of technological progress on economic and social development in Turkmenistan
The Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency is actively implementing the tasks formulated in the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan in 2019-2025.
ES “Digital Solution – IT Space” at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan of the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency trains specialists who will manage information, telecommunications and intelligent systems as part of the transition to digitalization.
The transition to a digital economy includes:
Electronic document management;
Software development;
Computer systems management;
Creation of websites and website home pages;
Activities in the field of information technology and computer technology;
Development and placement of news, applications and related events, use of the web portal;
Creation and maintenance of land cadastre;
Creation and management of an electronic school system;
Site technical support.
A new 6-week course, Robotics for Educational Initiatives, has now been launched for teenagers aged 5 to 14 years. The course specializes in the development of new types of assistant robots.
In addition, there are courses on computer literacy, network technologies, and programming languages.
In order to identify talented youth, the Turkmenaragatnashyk agency annually organizes a competition of innovative projects “Digital Solution”. Projects developed by young talents are widely implemented in all administrative institutions and public life of the country.
