The farewell ceremony for the Turkmenistan national team to the Olympics in Paris will be held on July 22
The Turkmenistan national team is actively preparing to participate in the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11. Turkmen athletes will compete in four disciplines: judo, weightlifting, athletics and swimming.
The delegation that will go to France includes 19 people. On July 22, a farewell ceremony for the team will take place at the Sport Hotel in the capital's Olympic Village. The event will be attended by representatives of public associations, national Olympic and Paralympic committees, heads of sports federations and students, as reported in today’s edition of the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
The national team has already held a series of training camps, including at foreign bases, in order to prepare as much as possible for the competition. Turkmen athletes are determined to show good results and represent their country on the world stage.
