The Mejlis discussed dialogue with USAID, including on digitalization

On Monday, July 15, the Mejlis hosted a meeting between the representative of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Turkmenistan, Jeffrey Skarin, and parliamentarians within the framework of the Governance Activities in Turkmenistan (GAT) project.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation; it was decided to actively support the digitalization of the activities of the main legislative body of Turkmenistan, exchange experience in legislative work, and also join forces in issues related to the improvement of local governments, the Mejlis said in a statement.
