Results of the half-year at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan: innovations and prospects On July 15, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting dedicated to the results of the country’s foreign policy activities for the first half of 2024. The meeting was attended by leaders and employees of the diplomatic department.
Reports from deputy ministers and heads of departments were heard, and long-term tasks for the second half of the year were identified. It was noted that by presidential decree of July 11, 2024, new departments were created - foreign policy information and digital diplomacy, as well as the consular service. In this regard, at the meeting, there were formulated tasks for preparing proposals for improving the consular system and work in the field of foreign policy information.
