British Foreign Minister arrived in Ashgabat

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron arrived in Ashgabat on Tuesday, March 23.

This historic visit to Ashgabat, the first time undertaken by the Foreign Office towards relations with Turkmenistan, is expected to strengthen bilateral ties.

As ORIENT already reported, shortly before David Cameron’s arrival in Ashgabat, with the participation of Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan Stephen Conlon, a number of documents were signed with the Turkmen side.
