Japanese Kawasaki will be involved in the technological renovation of the “Marykarbamid” plant

The State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" is working to ensure the smooth operation of
production enterprises. In order to bring the Marykarbamid plant to full capacity,
including its technological upgrade, it is proposed to use the experience of the
Japanese corporation Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. This proposal was
announced by Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov at a meeting of

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov supported the proposal and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to take appropriate measures. This was reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. successfully cooperates with the state-owned concerns Turkmenhimiya and Turkmengaz, having implemented a number of projects of production complexes in partnership.

The plant design division of the Japanese corporation, its subsidiary Kawasaki Plant Systems, Ltd., was involved in the design, supply of equipment and technical consulting during the construction of the Marykarbamid plant, it was commissioned in October 2014.

In January 2024, a memorandum was signed in Tokyo between Turkmenhimiya Group and Japanese Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and ITOCHU Corporation regarding the construction of a gasoline plant from natural gas and fertilizer plants.
