The French Institute will hold a concert “Baroque-Bakhshi”
In several cities of Turkmenistan, pianist Joanna Goodale will perform in concerts called “Baroque-Bakhshi”. The concerts are organized by the French Institute.
The Baroque-Bakhshi project will present a dialogue between ancient French music, based on the work of composer Jean-Philippe Rameau, and the music of the Silk Road. As part of the project, concerts are planned in 9 cities of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Turkey. Joanna Goodale's tour will begin in Ashgabat.
The concert will be held together with a youth chamber orchestra led by Rasul Klychev and with folk musicians.
