Turkmenistan took part in the transport and logistics conference in Minsk


The forum participants discussed issues of establishing an effective rail transportation system between the CIS countries and China.
The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the international conference “2024. Railway logistics: current development challenges”, which took place on April 4 in the capital of Belarus, Minsk. The event was organized by the Belarusian Railway.
The forum organizers also invited delegations from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and China. The conference was attended by representatives of sectoral ministries, departments and logistics companies of Belarus, the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park "Great Stone", ports and rolling stock owners.
From Turkmenistan, the following took part: Deputy Director General of Demirellary OJSC Allaguly Khudaiberdyev, Head of the 20th branch of Demirellary OJSC Maksat Rejepov, Deputy Director General of Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan OJSC Arslan Kurbanov, representative of the OJSC “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan " in the Russian Federation, Vladimir Takhiev, according to the Demirellary website.
As part of the conference, its participants had to analyze the prospects for the formation of transport logistics in the CIS, creation of competitive logistics solutions with the participation of railways and seaports.
The agenda of the forum included issues of the transport and transit potential of railway networks and logistics companies, organization of cargo transportation along the North-South and East-West corridors, as well as the implementation of the One Belt, One Road initiative.
