An article by the Turkmen Ambassador to Qatar dedicated to Akhal-Teke horses has been published


Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov published an article in one of the leading Arab newspapers “Al Sharq”, dedicated to the pride of the Turkmen people - Akhal-Teke horses.
The material was published on the eve of the national holiday - Turkmen Horse Day, celebrated annually in the country on the last Sunday of April.

In his article, the diplomat emphasizes the special role of horse breeding in the life of the Turkmen people, the reverent attitude of every Turkmen towards the Akhal-Teke horse - the oldest of the breeds. The contribution of horse breeder- Aba Annaev is invaluable to the development of horse breeding in Turkmenistan.
The diplomat focused on the relations between Turkmenistan and Qatar in the field of horse breeding. In this regard, he pointed to the visit of the delegation of the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annaev, headed by rector Pygy Bayramdurdyev, to Doha. Delegates took part in the opening ceremony of the 13th Sword of the Emir show jumping championship, which takes place in Doha.
The countries have joined forces in the field of training young specialists. Thus, cooperation between the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev, located in the city of Arkadag, and the State Equestrian Federation of Qatar under the leadership of Secretary General Sheikh Ahmad bin Nuh Al-Thani is being strengthened.
