A meeting of representatives of the prosecutor general offices of the Caspian states is taking place in Baku
A five-party meeting of representatives of the prosecutor general offices of the Caspian states started today in Baku.
On the sidelines of the event, there was held a meeting between Deputy Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan Rakhim Ataev and Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev.
Kamran Aliyev called Turkmenistan a close friend of Azerbaijan. He noted that thanks to the efforts of the heads of state, bilateral relations have reached a high level in all areas, including through the prosecutor’s office, Azertac reports.
Rakhim Ataev also emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan, including at the departmental level. He expressed confidence in the further strengthening of professional cooperation.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan Gurbanmammet Elyasov also took part in the meeting.
