Today, as part of an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov laid a wreath at the foot of the monument to the founder of the first Tajik state - Shah Ismoili Somoni, Khovar reports.
At the ceremony, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty was accompanied by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and other officials.
This morning, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived on an official visit to the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, the city of Dushanbe.
This trip will include meetings and negotiations at a high state level between the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, and a wide range of bilateral cooperation will be considered. After the meeting and negotiations, a number of new cooperation documents will be signed.
